Backpack Rally!

As a follow-up to the Backpack Project, we’re joining with CDC as they prepare over 600 students with what they need to begin a new school year - Jesus and supplies!

The Rally will be held Saturday, August 24, 11am-2pm at CDC’s campus in Detroit. Setup will begin at 9:30am.

Backpack Project!

We’re partnering with Central Detroit Christian to provide backpacks for kids in need. Participating is easy as 1-2-3!

  1. Grab a tag from the church lobby or select one of the lists below.

  2. Purchase a backpack and supplies.

  3. Bring your backpack to the church lobby by August 11!

 

Upper Elementary Girl or Boy

  • One 2-gallon clear storage bag

  • One pair ot blunt scissors

  • Six medium ballpoint pens

  • Six #2 pencils (pre-sharpened)

  • Two 2-pocket folders

  • One pencil holder/pouch

  • Two small glue sticks

  • One 12" ruler

  • One box 24 count crayons

  • One manual pencil sharpener

  • One pack wide ruled tiller paper

  • One wide ruled, I subject notebook

  • One 1.5" Three-Ring Binder

  • New backpack (no wheels)

Middle School Girl or Boy

  • New backpack (no wheels)

  • One 1.5" Three-Ring Binder

  • One wide ruled, 1 subject notebook

  • One pack wide ruled filler paper

  • One manual pencil sharpener

  • One box 24 count crayons

  • One 12" ruler

  • Two small glue sticks

  • One pencil holder/pouch

  • Two 2-pocket folders
