CALVARY WOMEN PRAYER
January 2025 Prayer Focus
It’s a new year with new and continuing opportunities for all of us to fix our eyes on the Lord, to know and follow Him together, and to pray both as individuals and as women together. I will continue to send this monthly email throughout 2025 to remind, fuel, and exhort you to pray! Prayer is an essential part of our relationship with the Lord and others. Prayer allows us to hear from and speak to the Lord, to align our hearts with His, and to seek His will and ways for our own lives, as well as people and circumstances that surround us.
We want to come together as a church family to pray our new CBC prayer focus throughout the next few months. This prayer focus has been a focus throughout our Calvary Women groups, events, and classes for years—to know and live out God’s Word together, I encourage you to check out the prayer prompts on the link above, then as women, let’s deepen and expand that focus by praying 1 John 2:15-17 together:
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride in one’s possessions—is not from the Father, but is from the world. And the world with its lust is passing away, but the one who does the will of God remains forever.
I also want to take this opportunity to highlight two major things happening in Calvary Women this year! First, our three Winter 2025 Bible study classes start THIS COMING TUESDAY, JANUARY 7! Many of you have already registered, but we have room for more! Get details as well as a link for registration HERE.
And a big save the dateS! Our 2025 women’s retreat, Seek God at All Times, is coming up March 7-9th at Geneva Camp and Retreat Center in Holland, Michigan. Full details will be coming later this month and registration will open on January 26th!
I encourage you to use this image on your phone or computer to remind you to pray throughout the month.
With you in prayer,
Heidi Fulk, CBC Women’s Ministry Director
