Be That House This Fall!

As we move into the Fall holiday season, we’ve extended the “Be That House” challenge to the Calvary Family with the hopes that each of us could find a way to share love and engage with those specifically in our local neighborhoods. It’s our hope that the homes represented by those in the Calvary Family would be stand-outs in their neighborhood this Fall – whether through extravagant décor, hospitality, or simply by going the extra mile to be warm and welcoming to your neighbors throughout the autumn season. From now until Thanksgiving, each of us are challenged to be a light representing Christ to those in our neighborhoods.

Below are a few different ways that you can “Be That House” in your neighborhood this fall!

SHARE YOUR STORY

Have you participated in Be That House this year? We’d love to hear how it went! Send a message to our Community Life Director Bobbie Lee Barr using our Contact page, or share your story in our Calvary Community Facebook Group!

This idea requires only a pumpkin, a sharpie, and a heart full of gratitude. Each day, ask your family, friends, or neighbors what they are thankful for and then write it down on the pumpkin. By the time Thanksgiving rolls around, you will have a pumpkin full of happiness.
