Let’s study and live out God’s Word together!
Calvary Women Winter 2025
Our kind, merciful God has given us His Word, His Spirit, and His people. We seek to combine all of those in our Calvary Women Bible study classes, groups, and events.
Calvary Women will offer three Bible studies for Winter 2025 and we want you with us! You may register and/or pick up workbooks in the CBC lobby after the main service (12/29 or 1/5), or register online HERE then pick up workbooks in the lobby or church office during regular business hours.
Tuesday Morning, Class #1 - Revelation: Eternal King. Everlasting Kingdom.
If all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable, we can trust that every book is accessible and helpful--including Revelation. In the opening verses, Revelations states that those who read it will be BLESSED, so we have hope it won't leave us fearful or confused though its imagery and concepts often confound our modern ears. Study Revelation with us using Jen Wilkin's verse by verse study to discover how the last book of the Bible is accessible, helpful, and speaks a steadying word of assurance and endurance to the church in every age. Workbook is $25.
This class will meet Tuesday mornings, 9:30-11:15am, with leader, Leanne Windle, in room 303 (planning to include watching the entire Jen Wilkin teaching video each week) beginning January 7th through March 11th .

Tuesday Evening, Class #3 - Judges: Hope of a Deliverer
God led His people, the Israelites, into the Promised Land where they often experienced battles with enemies and oppression. But they most often did not turn to God for help. "In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did whatever seemed right to him". Judges 21:25. God's solution for His people came through the judges--individuals specifically appointed by God to rescue His people. Each of these deliverers (a very unlikely cast of characters) point to our ultimate Deliverer--Jesus Christ. As we study this book, we'll see that we live in a similar time to the days of the judges, so there is relevance for God's people today. Judges sounds the alarm against idolatry, identifying gods of our modern era, and beckons us to instead devote ourselves completely to God and His ways. Most of all, Judges is a book that points to Jesus Christ as the Great Deliverer of God's people. We'll use the Seek and Find Workbook as our tool for this study. Workbook is $15.
This class will meet Tuesday evenings, 6:45-8:30pm, with leader, Gina Murrin, in room 302, beginning January 7th through March 11th
