Let’s study and live out God’s Word together!

Calvary Women Spring 2025

The Lord has been so merciful to give us His Word, His Spirit, and His people. We seek to combine all of those in our Calvary Women Bible study classes, groups, and events. We are offering two Bible study classes for Spring 2025.  Books for both classes will be available to pick up in Tuesday morning and evening classes the last week of Winter Bible study classes (March 11th), in the CBC Lobby on Sunday, March 16th, and in the CBC main office during regular hours (8-4, Monday-Friday) beginning March 11th. You may register HERE or with the button at the bottom of this page.

TUESDAY MORNINGS - From Garden to Glory: How Understanding God's Story Changes Yours

Many of us read the Bible without realizing that it is one story from beginning to end. From Genesis to Revelation, we see God's heart in His redemptive plan for humanity, and how He desires for us to be a part of it! From Garden to Glory will show you from Eden to eternity how to grow in your appreciation for how all the parts of the Bible fit together brilliantly as a unified whole, understand your value, significance, and purpose on a more profound level, and be encouraged to live in hopeful anticipation of the story’s epic finale—when heaven and earth are renewed in glory and we’re finally, fully, and forever in God’s presence.

This book study will meet on Tuesdays 9:15-11:15am, March 18 - April 29, with March 25 off for Spring Break. We will combine our typical 303 and 401 Tuesday morning classes in room 303 and Chelsea Ford and Heidi Fulk will lead this combined study. The Garden to Glory book is $13.

TUESDAY EVENINGS - Promises Kept: 5 Old Testament Covenants and How Christ Fulfilled Them

Every one of God's promises comes stability and beauty. Every kept vow gives courage and hope. In Promises Kept, you'll study through five Old Testament covenants—promises—with the goal of seeing God’s beautiful storyline. During these six weeks, we discover the meaning of God’s Covenant with Adam, Abraham, the Exodus and Passover, the Mosaic Covenant, God’s Covenant with David, and the New Covenant Promised. We'll see God’s purposes for His people, their place in His purposes, and how the entire Bible fits together. Additionally, we will see how Jesus fulfills God’s loving covenants. Through this study, readers learn and employ an interpretive method: observe, interpret, and apply. As we dive into God’s precious promises to the people He loves, we’ll find our hearts strengthened and encouraged to face our days with greater love and courage.

This class meets on Tuesday Evenings, at 6:45pm in room 302 March 18 - April 29, with March 25 off for Spring Break and Gina Murrin will lead this study. The Promises Kept workbook is $10.
