Throughout the month of July, our church family collected 75 backpacks filled with school supplies which will be given to refugee families living in Detroit who are served by our Ministry Partner, SEND Diaspora. 

We have an opportunity to engage specifically with these Afghan refugee families in a special Carnival Kickoff For School event on Sunday, August 29, where families can come and enjoy games, snacks, and choose their backpack and school supplies for the year. The event will take place at the Hope International Center in Detroit.
