Central Detroit Christian has partnered with the families they serve during the holidays by empowering them through the Pride for Parents Store. At a low cost, parents will be able to provide new necessary clothing items, as well as toys for their kids during the Christmas season. CDC will support families with wrapping distribution and boxed meals as well! As we rejoice and celebrate our Lord, we invite you to play an active and important opportunity with our outreach partner, Central Detroit Christian.
Ways to Participate
DONATE ITEMS
November 29-December 6: We will be collecting items for middle school aged children. Drop off new winter coats and age-appropriate toys at the church by December 6th.
VOLUNTEER TO SET UP
Setup: We need volunteers to assist with setup for the store on Monday, December 14 6pm-9pm (20 volunteers needed). There will be minor lifting required to move tables, chairs, setup decorations, etc.
REGISTRATION VOLUNTEERS
Help parents register. This involves engagement with parents. This is a detail oriented role. (2 volunteers)
