We are planning another “We Need to Talk” conversation night for Thursday, March 24th at 7 pm.

Parents and students are invited to join us for a discussion about dating and why communication is important. If you came to our "We Need To Talk" events last year on Anxiety and Pornography we'll be using the same style of Axis video materials. They're super high quality and should foster some great discussion between students and their parents.

This is an opportunity for parents and students to talk through potentially difficult or awkward topics. As families start having these conversations it doesn’t have to be awkward! Kids are or will be interested in dating at some point, so how do we date well instead of letting the world define what that looks like? How do we date well and prepare ourselves to be in a relationship some day.

We'll be working through a series of short videos from Axis. They do an awesome job of grabbing clips from movies, tv shows, music videos, and songs to compare what the world says with what God says. The videos are super high-quality and engaging.

PARENTAL HEADS UP: There is a portion of this event that will talk about pornography and sex. While this isn't the main focus of the night, it will come up. Our kids are constantly hearing what the world has to say about these topics. What does God say?

Parents, we hope to see you on Thursday night in the Barn, and we hope to see your students there too if they're available! Even if your student isn't available, we would still love to have you join us for this conversation. We are able to make the resources available for you to go through with your family at a later time.
