Pumpkin Palooza

  • Downtown Plymouth 381 S Main St Plymouth, MI, 48170 United States (map)

Pumpkin Palooza is an annual event held on the closed streets of West Ann Arbor Trail, Forest Avenue, Penniman, and Main in Downtown Plymouth Michigan. This free event draws over 6000 attendees - children, parents, and grandparents, and it continues to grow each year. Be sure to stop by the Calvary booth for face-painting and giveaways. Learn more about Pumpkin Palooza by visiting the official Plymouth Pumpkin Palooza website!

Calvary Baptist Church is excited to be partnering with the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce to take part in Pumpkin Palooza at Kellogg Park on Sunday, October 23, 11:30-2:30 p.m.

During Pumpkin Palooza, families from the local communities walk through Kellogg Park and the Downtown Plymouth area and visit the different booths and displays set up around town. Kids come in costumes and can fill bags with candy as they stop at the different booths and enjoy the different fall-themed activities.

For this all-church outreach initiative, we hope to use this event as a way to be a presence in our local community and as a chance to engage with all those who will be attending.

We hope to have the Calvary Family partner with Pumpkin Palooza in the following ways:

  1. Volunteer* to serve at our Booth! Specific jobs are listed on the signup link below.

  2. Donate candy to be distributed at our Booth! Non-candy items like small trinkets and toys are also needed (see signup link below). Candy and trinket items should be dropped off in the Church Lobby by Wednesday, Oct 19.

  3. Donate items for giveaways! Many of our church ministry areas will be contributing items for giveaways at our Booth. Check with your Ministry or ABF Leaders for details.

  4. Attend Pumpkin Palooza! Wear your Calvary t-shirts, join us downtown, and encourage people to visit the Calvary booth.

*ALL Volunteers serving during the event must attend Pumped for Pumpkin Palooza. This meeting will take place on Sunday, October 9, 6-7pm in the Lower Level Cafeteria. The purpose of this meeting is to attain tools in preparation for this large scale ministry opportunity.
