CALVARY WOMEN PRAYER
September 2025 Prayer Focus
Welcome to September and a new ministry year for Calvary Women! It was wonderful to have a big room full of women at our kickoff a couple weeks ago getting lots of information about our classes, groups, and events for 2025-2026, as well as praying for each of those areas and more importantly, all the women who will be part of or connected to them.
At the kickoff, I shared that our Calvary Women focus for the year will be “Know God Deeply. Live Differently.” As we learn and discuss in our Bible study classes, as we hear speakers and build relationships in Moms Together, and as we connect, invite, and interact at our events, our focus will be to know God deeply and live differently. In even fewer words we want to: SEEK - KNOW - LIVE - SHOW. To seek God through His Word with the help and power of the Holy Spirit. To know God deeply. To live out what we learn and see modeled to us by faithful followers of Christ in the Bible and in our church family. And to show our families, friends, and anyone God might put in our path that our God is Creator, King, Father, and Savior.
There is still time for you to join us for one of our four Bible study classes—two on Tuesday mornings, one on Tuesday evenings, or one on Wednesday evenings that begin next week. Or if you’re a mom of children birth through elementary school, you can still be a part of Moms Together that meets twice a month on Fridays. Just click those links for details and registration! We also still need some faithful people willing to support moms who are a part of both Tuesday morning Bible studies or Moms Together by providing childcare. Might you or someone you know be willing to care for our little ones? This is a way you can be a part of knowing God deeply and living differently so contact our Calvary Kids director, Carrie Macklem (carrie@cbcjoy.org) today!
As you pray throughout the month, would you please pray our ministry year focus? That we as women would, indeed, know God deeply and live differently. Let’s pray these pray these two verses together this month with that focus in mind:
Deuteronomy 7:9—Know that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps his gracious covenant loyalty for a thousand generations with those who love him and keep his commands.
Jeremiah 24:7—I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God because they will return to me with all their heart.
With you in prayer,
Heidi Fulk, Calvary Women Director
