We’re excited to be bringing back this family-favorite event with some fun upgrades this spring! Join us as we taste some of our favorite foods from around the country and around the world. Bring your appetite and make your way around the building, stopping at the different tables to experience a variety of cultures and cuisines.
This year we have 14 table hosts ready to share their favorite recipes with you. We’ll have food representing countries like China, India, Brazil, Italy, Turkey, Mexico, and US Regions like New England and Cajun. We’ll even have a Michigan-themed table for those with a more local palate.
There’s no cost to attend (especially for visitors), but we will be accepting donations to benefit our Calvary LOVES fund, which serves our Local Outreach Partners.
Interested in attending? Just show up on Saturday April, 29 between 5 and 7PM. This event will take place in the building closest to Joy Rd.

• Table themes should represent a nation, region, or culture. This can be your family’s background, someplace you have lived or visited, or something that you just enjoy!
• Table hosts should plan to provide food samples for 125-150 people. No need for full serving sizes. Just a bite-sized taste will be perfect!
• Table hosts should plan to have 2-4 different food options at their table.
• Table decorations and interactive activities are strongly encouraged. Tables are 6-foot banquet tables.
• Table hosting CAN be collaborative! Grab a friend and sign up together.
• CBC will reimburse table hosts up to $75 per table if desired. Save your receipts!
• CBC will provide basic paper products for all guests (plates, napkins, silverware) as well as sample cups, paper trays, and a plastic table cover for hosts if needed.
• CBC will provide water bottles for everyone. Table hosts can feel free to include another drink at their table if desired.
• The event will take place in the CBC Lobby with setup from 3-4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 29.
• Electric power and extension cords/power strips will be available.
• CBC will provide signage for each table so there is no need to “label” yourself.
